Today, frozen pizzas and other products with different ingredients are produced fully automatically in large quantities. A vision sensor is installed above the conveyor belt to check the quality and completeness of the topping. During the process, for example, it checks whether the correct number of salami slices has been added to each pizza.
Since the pizzas are not always transported precisely on the conveyor belt, an image tracking function automatically adjusts them. If there are insufficient slices on the pizza, it is ejected and more slices are added by hand.
This means that customers receive identical pizzas with the same quality.
